Looking for experiments to show you why dogs pant, how elephants keep cool, or how animals that live in the very cold stay warm? If so, the links below will lead to fun and exciting hands-on activities demonstrating to students the following science concept:
 
"Animals have certain structures and habits
that help them meet their needs."

 

Through the demonstration of this activity students will learn how elephants use their trunks to spray themselves with water and then fan their bodies with their large ears to stay cool.

Activity may seem messy but if you are prepared with wipes there is no mess to it. Valuable activity in that the students will have fun while learning about vaiuos animals' fat layer (blubber).
